Merry Christmas Prim Style Sign

Merry Christmas Prim Style

We have based this lovely Merry Christmas Sign on American Prim Style. I just love the subtle colouring and shapes of American Prim.

This is a very quick & easy project to make. Cover the back using either Adhesive Sheet, Spray Mount or Mod Podge. You can use your own paper or download the Backing Paper I created to make the Project HERE. I mark where the holes are by pushing a pin through then use an embossing tool pushed through to form a larger hole. I punched just the top two holes through but you can hang the star at one end or other pieces as well from the bottom. Ink all the edges with a sponge using Ranger Distress Ink Walnut Stain, use a Cotton Bud to ink the holes. All the letters where coloured twice with my Red Sharpie :-) Prepare the Robin, Snowflake, and ink the edge of the Tree & Large Star again with Walnut Stain and a sponge. I used "Rusty Wire" to form the Hanger, wrapping the ends round a thin paint brush to form spirals. The Large Star at the bottom I decorated with a Gingham Bow which I stitched into shape & added a few Rusty Embellishments. I formed a Flat Loop with the Rusty Wire and passed both ends though the Star and again formed spirals with the ends. Finally I hot glued the wire on the star, to the back, in the middle of the Sign adding a blob of Crafters Pick Ultimate Glue for good measure.
