Spooky Darlings

I was really pleased with how our New Free Standing Letters have turned out.

Available as single letters with a base you can create endless Word Combinations or have just a single Letter.  Below are 2 Halloween Versions that I have decorated.  "Spooky" turned into a real Button fest!!  I really enjoyed designing all my new Witch & Halloween Buttons earlier in the year and they proved perfect for decorating the new Letters.  I first covered all the letters with various Halloween themed papers I had left over from a previous project, then sponged all the edges with Tim Holtz Black Soot ink.  I then lavishley!! covered them all with Buttons and a few other Bits & Pieces plus the Base of the Letters makes for an ideal area to add and create additional scenes.

My other Halloween word is Boo.  This was easy & quick to decorate.  I coloured all the bases with chunky black marker pen then covered all the Letters in Cobweb Paper, I drew over some of the Cobwebs with  a Clear Stardust Pen to really make them sparkle.  They catch the light really well.  The spider was hung on a silver embroidery thread.  The Pumpkin was coloured with Dark Orange Sharpie Pen and the edges sponged with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain, then carefully but liberally covered with Ranger Crackle Accents.  The Ghost was sponged with a paint dabber in Liquid Gesso, left to dry then a second coat added.  Whilst the second coat was still wet I sprinkled with Cosmic Shimmer Glitter Jewels "Diamond Sprinkles" and left to dry before tipping excess glitter off.  His eyes are 2 Round Adhesive Pearls, stuck with Crafters Pick.  Pumpkin, Ghost and Spider all in Halloween Pack 1.
